The Tumbler Ridge Museum Foundation
will have six employees for the summer, thanks to funding support
from such agencies as HRSDC and 2010 Legacies Now, and the
Target to Work Subsidy Program.
Rich McCrea continues
as Curator of the Peace region Palaeontology Research Centre,
while Lisa Buckley resumes for the summer as Palaeontology
Field and Preparation Supervisor. Tammy Pigeon comes on board
as Technical Assistant, and she will also help develop museum
exhibits and presentations. Glenna Mackenzie will work for
the latter half of 2006 on the Tumbler Ridge Archiving Project.
Jennifer Becker is back as Dinosaur Track Tour Guide and Co-ordinator,
while Robin Sissons is the Summer Education Program Co-ordinator
and will run Dinosaur Camp. Max Allen is the Educational Program
Councillor and will also help develop the Monkman Pass Memorial
Trail.
