The Dinosaur Camp offers introductory "Raptor" camps for first-time registrants. For those who have already experienced the introductory camp there is the advanced "Tyrannosaur" camp which builds on the knowledge gained in the previous camp. The two camps are different in content and activities. Two-day "Family Mini-Camps" will also be offered in which the whole family can participate. Eight sessions are offered this summer which are as follows:

SESSION
I July 3 - 4 Family Mini-Camp
II July 14 - 18 Raptor Camp
III July 21 - 25 Raptor Camp*
IV July 28 - Aug. 1 Raptor Camp
V Aug. 4 - 5 Family Mini-Camp
VI Aug. 7 - 8 Family Mini-Camp
VII Aug. 18 - 22 Raptor Camp**
VIII Aug. 25 - 29 Tyrannosaur Camp

T* Grande Prairie, Alberta, Grande Prairie Regional College
** Northern Lights College, Hudson's Hope Campus

The Dinosaur Camp is open to children between 8 - 13 years of age (7-13 for Mini-Camps). The camps run daily from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm. Children bring their own lunches. Registration is limited to 13 campers per session.
Our primary goal is for campers to learn about the prehistory of the Peace Region and enjoy themselves while doing it. A great deal is expected from individuals in terms of positive attitude and behavior so that the camp will be a memorable experience for all participants.
